Lovely Liv Tyler and her rocker husband Royston Langdon have been enjoying strolls through the streets of pre-Christmas New York as they await the arrival of their first child.

The heavily pregnant Lord Of The Rings star was wrapped up warm and cosy in a sheepskin jacket, practical trainers and jaunty cap when she and Spacehog singer Royston stepped out for a spot of dinner and some window-shopping in the West Village district at the weekend.

The couple, who first met in 1998 and married in 2003, seemed particularly taken by some of the sweet treats on display at a swish store's patisserie counter, with Liv pointing out her favourites to her indulgent hubby.

Being pregnant hasn't stopped the mum-to-be from working this year, and she has put two films in the can: the drama Lonesome Jim, which stars Ben Affleck's brother Casey; and the romantic comedy Jersey Girl, also featuring Jennifer Lopez.
