Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have put an end to months of speculation by becoming man and wife. And that's not the only piece of good news for the A-list couple. Publicists have also confirmed they are expecting their first child together.
Ben and Jennifer made their vows at a beachfront ceremony in the luxury private island resort of Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos Islands. According to reports stateside, the bride wore a cream-coloured, empire-waisted gown with a turquoise sash to say "I do".
Their big day was a distinctly low-key affair, with only a select group of close family and friends present to witness the romantic moment. The newly married couple, who spent their first night as husband and wife in Bruce Willis' nearby villa, are expected to spend the weekend celebrating at the home of Jennifer's parents in West Virginia.
The two actors first met on the set of the 2001 blockbuster Pearl Harbour but romance didn't blossom until two years later when they appeared together in the comic book adventure Daredevil. At the time Jennifer was finalising her divorce from actor Scott Foley, while Ben had recently split from Latin bombshell Jennifer Lopez. |
