Jennifer Aniston has a ball with co-stars as John Mayer talks proposals

3 FEBRUARY 2009
Contrast the title of Jennifer Aniston's latest romcom He's Just Not That Into You with her current vibrant love life and glowing demeanour at the film's screening in LA.

America's favourite sweetheart was on radiant form at the premiere, suggesting her romance with rock-pop poster boy John Mayer is still going strong. Surrounded by a gaggle female co-stars, the actress seemed to thoroughly enjoying herself as she hit the red carpet.

The 40-year-old and her colleagues Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Connelly could hardly keep a straight face as Drew Barrymore, the flick's executive producer, shared an anecdote with them.

Written by Greg Behrendt, a consultant on Sex And The City, the film follows the complex affairs of the heart of a group of 20- and 30-somethings in Baltimore.

And the ladies were probably keen to quiz Jen about the latest blog postings from her boyfriend. Apparently making light of the constant questions over whether a proposal is in the offing, the musician wrote: "Welding an engagement ring for my girlfriend".

His message to fans came after the duo attended a party for the biggest event in America's sporting calendar, the Superbowl, where they chilled out with friends.
