TV presenter Laura Hamilton and her husband Alex Goward have revealed that they are expecting a baby. "We are absolutely over the moon," Laura told HELLO!. "We feel so lucky that it's happened so quickly for us and I now have the beginnings of a bump." The A Place in the Sun presenter is due to give birth on 11 November.
"I'm really lucky because I've been feeling really well and haven't had a hint of nausea," said the mum-to-be. Husband Alex, with whom she tied the knot in September 2012, spoke of his excitement at becoming a dad. "I didn't think I could possibly be more in love with Laura than I already was from day one," he said. "But now she's carrying our child we are even more in love."
"Seeing our little one on the screen really brought it home and made me think, 'Oh my word – I'm going to be a father'. Hearing the heartbeat for the first time is a sound I'll never forget."
The couple have decided not to find out their baby's sex and have no preference for a son or daughter. "We honestly don't mind, we just hope for a healthy baby," said Laura, who was a runner-up on Dancing on Ice in 2011.
