Ryan Reynolds never leaves the house without Blake Lively's fashion approval

27 JUNE 2013

Ryan Reynolds says he never leaves the house without style approval from his fashionista wife Blake Lively.

The Proposal actor has previously joked that Blake chooses his outfits for him. Ryan has now confirmed that Blake always makes sure he looks his best when he goes out.

"I would never walk out of the house without her approval," Ryan told ExtraTV this week.

Ryan was voted 'Sexiest Man Alive' in 2010 and is known for his fine physique and dashing good looks – so dapper dressing comes as standard for the hunky actor, who is also a model for Hugo Boss.

Thanks to the leading lady in his life, he now no longer has to worry about what outfit to choose from day-to-day.

Much like her Gossip Girl alter-ego Serena Van der Woodsen, Blake never leaves the house without looking glamorous. She regularly tops ‘Best Dressed’ lists and has become a style icon in her own right.

A regular on the red carpet, Blake often showcases her statuesque figure in floor-length gowns, while Ryan rocks a suit and tie combo. When the couple dress down, Blake likes to show off her perfect pins in short skirts and dresses, while Ryan is a fan of jeans and chinos and is regularly seen casually wearing an open-collared shirt.

The couple got married in 2012 following a whirlwind romance after meeting on the set of superhero blockbuster The Green Lantern. Ryan popped the question with an impressive $2million pink diamond ring, the perfect accessory to Blake's glamorous look.

Ryan has been promoting his new animated film Turbo. He lends his voice to the eponymous character, a garden snail who dreams of becoming the greatest racer in the world.

The couple are regularly spotted out together. They were seen dining and shopping in Spain this week as they continue their European travels after attending the Chime for Change concert in London earlier this month.

With such a gorgeous woman on his arm, it's no wonder Ryan wants to look his best.
