Wearing a stunning yet simple black pantsuit, Angelina, 38, laughed and joked with 16-year-old Elle as they posed for photos.

Maleficent is a Disney retelling of the animated classic Sleeping Beauty. Elle plays Aurora, the princess who is cursed to prick her finger and sleep for 100 years.

In this new version, out in the UK on May 28, Angelina plays Maleficent and we hear her side of the story.

Previously speaking of working with Oscar winning actress Angelina, Elle said: "It's kind of a dream to say that you even met her and let alone to be in scenes with her. It was really really cool."

"She really got into her character in a way. It was super exciting. Everything was so fun," Elle added to People magazine.

Also starring in the new film is Angelina’s five-year-old daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt. The little girl stars as a young Princess Aurora in the film — her role is later picked up by Elle.

In the film Angelina’s character sports a terrifying pair of horns, and the Hollywood actress has previously told of how staying in character was hard when her children were so scared of their mother.

Speaking to EW about Vivienne’s casting, Angelina said: "We think it's fun for our kids to have cameos and join us on set, but not to be actors… The other three-and-four-year-old (performers) wouldn't come near me. It had to be a child that liked me and wasn't afraid of my horns and my eyes and my claws. So it had to be Viv."
