Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery is moving on to Hollywood, and has recently revealed that working with Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore on thriller Non-stop was "a dream"."They're icons for me so to be working on the same film as them was incredible - it was a lot of fun", the former TV actress-turned-Hollywood star said.

Michelle recently confirmed that she hasn't left ITV's incredibly popular drama Downton Abbey for good, and will be back for the fifth season, but when asked about the slow move into film she admitted that she had an amazing time taking on one of her first leading roles.

"It was brilliant to work on an action thriller, and to work on a set for two months in that kind of environment", she said, before adding: "I'm fascinated by how films work, and how visually something can work on screen and how it's done behind-the-scenes." As well as Downton Abbey, the 32-year-old actress also starred alongside Kiera Knightley in another period drama, Anna Karenina, and so taking part in something set in the modern world was a big change for Michelle."We worked with a great woman who was a flight attendant at Delta so she took us through procedures and self-defence moves.

Working in such close proximity on set fuelled the performances as that was the kind of performance that was needed", she said of how the actors prepared for the intense scenes.

Non-stop is out on digital download on 24 June, and on DVD and Blu-ray on 30 June.
