Not long after her swimsuit poster appeared Farrah landed her first TV role as crime fighter Jill Monroe in Charlie's Angles. The show – which depicted the adventures of three female police officers who became undercover private detectives – was a huge hit, and brought Farrah the first of several awards. It was a dream come true for the youngster, who'd moved to LA to become an actress. She'd been studying for a degree in microbiology in Texas when she caught the eye of an agent, who suggested she set her sights on Hollywood.
