Guess which TOWIE star auditioned for The X Factor?

Jasmin Walia might have found fame as one of the stars of The Only Way Is Essex – but now she is ready to make a name for herself in the music industry.

The 23-year-old was spotted queuing up for The X Factor auditions outside Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium in north London on Friday, supported by her brother Danny.

It was previously reported that Jamsin had  impressed producers at initial auditions earlier this month, and she looked calm as she prepared to face the four judges.

The reality star posted a YouTube video back in February showcasing her vocal talents amid reports she is ready to leave TOWIE. "She wants to move on from TOWIE because while it's fun, there's no money in it," a source told the Sun.

Ready to watch Jasmin perform were X Factor judges, Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Mel B and  Louis Walsh.

The two ladies were once again dressed to impress; Cheryl, 30, in an elegant orange ensemble by Stella McCartney, and Mel, 39, in a fitted black Versace dress.

Mel was confirmed as the fourth and final judge earlier this month. The former Spice Girl – a series nine guest judge – said she was “excited” to be returning to the show.

“I’ve always thought honesty is the best policy when being a judge and that’s what I’m going to bring more of this year,” she promised. “Whether it’s spotting an incredible singer, giving someone a reality check or debating with Simon over who’s got it wrong.”

The new series of The X Factor promises to be the best one yet; Mel, Cheryl and Simon are all back – and so too are the closed room auditions.

In March, Simon confirmed that the show was reverting to its original format, with hopefuls auditioning in a room in front of just the judges. Series 11 also sees the return of bootcamp and the six-seat challenge, where judges are assigned their categories at the start of bootcamp and will then have to choose which contestants they want to fill their ‘six seats’.
