Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at the Friends lifestyle: 'Perhaps we can all have breakfast together as a group before work, like normal people do all the time'

"That's amazing," said a shocked Jennifer, as Jimmy took her onto a fake set and unveiled an exact replica of the kitchen from Monica's apartment. The pair sat down with a reluctant Jennifer reading amusing lines from a script, much to the delight of the audience. "This is dumb, this is really dumb," said the Hollywood star. "Is it dumber than living in a huge apartment in New York City for eight years even though you work at a coffee shop?" retorted Jimmy.

The duo continued to act out their scene, with Jimmy later pressing a buzzer and saying, "And perhaps we can meet our group of friends like Monica and Phoebe and we can all have breakfast together as a group before work like normal people do all the time." Courteney, who played Monica Geller, then burst onto the scene, much to her close friend Jennifer's surprise. "Are you kidding me? Now you drag Court into this," she said, to which Jimmy replied, "That's not Court that's Monica." Lisa, best known for playing Phoebe Buffay, was next to stride through the door, to loud applause and cheers from the audience. The three Friends star find out that in Jimmy's script, characters Joey and Chandler have been killed off after Ross' pet monkey Marcel bites them and gives them monkey rabies.

"We had a ball," said Jennifer Aniston of the skit

"We had a ball," Jennifer told E! News of the skit on late-night TV. It certainly looked like the group did as Jimmy teased fans ahead of the show by tweeting a photo of the actresses and captioning it, "This happens tonight." An actual Friends reunion seems unlikely, however, as Courteney previously said, "Let me tell you something: there's six friends and I've been trying to put together a cast dinner for 10 years. It doesn't happen! I can get the girls to come, maybe Matthew Perry. "Matt LeBlanc cancelled last time right at the last minute, Schwimmer lives here [in New York City], so it's just not gonna happen."
