Loose Women is pulling out all the stops in celebration of Mother's Day on 26 March. The ITV daytime show has announced a special line-up of stars and their mums who will be appearing in the week leading up to the event. Starting on Monday, Stacey Solomon's mum Fiona will be joining the panel, while Tuesday will see Judge Rinder appear alongside his mum Angela Cohen. Emilia Fox will also come on to discuss her emotional turn in new film Mum's List.

On Wednesday, panellist Katie Price will be joined by her mother Amy, while new mum Becky Vardy – wife of Leicester City star Jamie Vardy – will make a special appearance with her two-month-old baby son Finley Jaiden. Thursday will see Katie Piper and her mum Diane stop by the studios, and on Friday Jake Quickenden and his mum will sit down on the show, alongside The Voice's Emma Willis, who has three children with husband Matt Willis.

Loose Women has been cancelled five times in the past two weeks

The announcement will come as welcome news to Loose Women fans. The show was cancelled this week to make way for live coverage of the Cheltenham Festival, and it was also pulled from the schedule on 8 March – International Women's Day – in favour of the Chancellor's first budget announcement. Viewers were not impressed, with several stating that they would "much rather" watch Loose Women than the politics. "Loose Women isn't on tomorrow, what am I going to do?" one viewer tweeted. Another questioned: "Why is ITV News more important than Loose Women?"
