Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez first laid eyes on each other on the set of the film Gigli in 2001, but for Hollywood's hottest couple, it wasn't quite love at first sight.
"He wasn't even remotely appealing, to tell you the truth," Jennifer later recalled. "He was so far from the sexiest man alive. I thought he was kinda' homely."
That appraisal soon changed, however, and their feelings for each other began to grow. Then, in April last year, Ben splashed out £15,000 on a set of half-page advertisements saying how much he enjoyed working with the actress.
