The road to Ben and Jen's big day has been a long and winding one, with no shortage of rumours as to when and where the ceremony would eventually take place. Tabloid reports variously told us that Hawaii, South America and Puerto Rico would play host to the wedding, but the couple deftly managed to keep their plans secret.
It was even rumoured that Jen wanted to journey across the pond to London to make her vows, but all the speculation remained just that.
At one point, feeling a little frustrated with the unrelenting media attention, Ben took to giving the press false leads. "The wedding is in Namibia on November 15," he told one eager reporter. "So you go ahead and fly on down and we'll see you there." |
