Matt Dillon is aiming to prove that life, behind the camera at least, really does begin at 40. It's been over 20 years since he emerged as one of the original "brat pack" alongside Patrick Swayze, Tom Cruise and Rob Lowe in The Outsiders. And as he embarks upon a new decade on February 18, he is hoping to find just as much success as a director. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Matt headed off to Cambodia to start his career as a filmmaker with the moody thriller City Of Ghosts. In the process of making the recently completed flick, the chisel-jawed actor faced some unusual logistical challenges. "There were a lot of unconventional things that ran through the shooting," he reveals. "From building roads to clearing landmines." |
