Kylie Minogue looked absolutely beautiful in a riverside photograph posted on her Instagram account this week. The singer showcased her delicate elfin features in a side profile shot, and was radiant with minimal make-up. Her flawless complexion was enhanced with a glowy base and a touch of blush, bringing out her striking cheekbones. The 48-year-old’s lips were painted with a subtle rouge gloss, while her glossy blonde hair was worn in an ultra-feminine side braid. Kylie looked a picture of happiness as she relaxed outside enjoying the picturesque view, wearing a vibrant black and red dress adorned with a beautiful floral print.

Kylie’s ageless beauty was complemented by her fans on social media, with one referring to her as a: "Riverside Princess," while another likened her to another pop icon, writing: "You and Madonna look like sisters."

The Spinning Me Around singer’s genetics are as striking now as they were at the star of her successful pop career back in the 1980s, with the photograph emulating an earlier throwback post. The picture, captioned: “Wow #tbt !!” shows a younger Kylie dressed in a vibrant red cocktail dress embellished with a bow, teamed with matching oversized drop earrings and a bangle. A pillar-box red lipstick completed her awe-inspiring look.

Kylie has a lot to smile about at the moment. Last month, Prince Philip presented her with the Britain-Australia Society Award for 2016 at Windsor Castle. The Britain-Australia Society, for which the Duke has been Patron since 1970, aims to bring together people to advance the relationship between the two countries – be it through commerce, public service, education, sport, entertainment or culture.

Speaking about the award, Kylie said: "I am delighted to accept this award from the Britain-Australia Society. I'm a proud 'Aussie' but Britain has a very strong place in my heart having lived and worked here for many years. The Society does a wonderful job to promote the rich cultural ties between the two countries and I am honoured to be recognised by them in this way."
