Recreate her look with Fudge's Salt Spray to give beach babe texture

05 JUNE 2009

A keen fan of Hot Chip, St Trinian’s star Tamsin Egerton turned up super-early at the launch party of Wrigley’s 5 gum to catch the members of the band and their supports playing – and Hot Chip certainly gave value for money, performing for 90 minutes, with Kano making a guest appearance.

Tamsin brought her pumps in her bag as her new shoes were killing her – not that anyone would have been able to tell the difference as the model and actress is toweringly tall and also very slender, with a tiny face peeping out from a big blonde head of hair.

She wore her hair dressed casually for the event, in an almost LA beach party style, full of texture and body but completely ‘un-done’. There are several ways to recreate the look…

*Plait hair in inch-long sections, spritz lightly with water, leave to dry overnight and then unwrap and run through with fingers.

*Twist sections of hair, then wrap each into a coil, pin against the head, heat with a hairdryer, allow to cool and unwrap. Applying a little mousse through each section first will help hair hold its shape.

*Or use a specific product, such as Fudge’s Salt Spray, £10.95, which gives hair that beach-babe texture. Spray through the lengths and leave to dry naturally for loose, mussed up style.
