Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes is the star attraction for cinemas with its Boxing Day opening and Robert Downey Junior and Jude Law’s co-star, Rachel McAdams, wore a casually glamorous style for the New York premiere that’s perfect for an easy Christmas ‘do.
Celeb stylist and Pantene Pro-V ambassador Danilo styled Rachel’s hair for the premiere and told us how he got the look:
Step 1
Divide dry hair into sections and mist with a volumising hairspray to lift the roots then set with large rollers, leaving hair to cool before unwrapping into waves and smoothing with a tiny amount of serum on the ends. Ruffle through with fingers to loosen and separate the waves.
Step 2
Leaving a section free at the front to fall across the face, bring the sides of hair loosely back, folding one over the other and gripping into place.
Step 3
Lightly backcomb the lengths with a wide-toothed comb or brush and spritz all over with hairspray.
Danilo used Pantene Pro-V Volume & Body Hairspray, but especially recommends Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Night Renewal Nourishing Mist all over before blowdrying to keep hair smooth and shiny.
