Cher Lloyd reveals newly dyed blonde locks

14 MARCH 2014 Cher Lloyd has unveiled newly dyed blonde locks.

The singer's hair transformation comes just days after her former mentor Cheryl Cole stepped out showcasing a similar ombre look at the X Factor press conference.

The 20-year-old has changed up her hairstyle ahead of her appearance on Demi Lovatos Neon Lights tour. Cher will be supporting the megastar, with whom she collaborates on the song Really Don't Care.

She takes over from Little Mix, who was Demi's previous warm-up act.

At the end of last year, Cher surprised fans by marrying her hairdresser boyfriend Craig Monk in a secret wedding ceremony.

The star announced the news by uploading a snapshot onto Instagram with a simple love heart caption and the date, 18/11/2013, next to it.

In the sweet black-and-white snapshot, Cher can be seen wearing a strapless white wedding gown and veil, and carrying a bouquet of roses. Her new husband stands by her side wearing a suit and tie.

It wasn't long before the 20-year-old was inundated with messages of congratulations from her followers. Among the first to offer their best wishes Cheryl.

"Wow!! Heard your good news. Congratulations @CherLloyd," she wrote on her Twitter page. "I hope you have many more happy years and memories to come. Cheryl x."

Cher — who found fame on the X Factor in 2010 — got engaged to Craig in 2011, and decided to have a heart tattooed on her wedding finger in addition to wearing a beautiful diamond ring.

She has made no secret of her love for for Craig, and her excitement at getting married .

"I'm engaged and want to get married as soon as possible," the Swagger Jagger singer told the Mirror last year. "I can't wait.

"I love Craig and he makes me happy. I know I am going to spend the rest of my life with him."
