Robbie Williams has showed off a shocking pink hairstyle after a dye job went wrong. The singer, who recently celebrated his 41st birthday, shared a picture of himself looking up questionably at his new candy-coloured quiff telling fans that he intends to change it as soon as possible.

"A disclaimer: my hair is pink… it isn't meant to be, it's a dye job gone wrong… in 24 hours it will be different… I didn't intend to have a pink head… RW x" he tweeted.

While Robbie may not be a fan of his new pink locks, it appears his Twitter followers think otherwise – the playful snap has been retweeted over 600 times and favourited over 1500 times.

The former Take That singer appears to have been experimenting with his naturally dark brown hair in recent weeks, and shared pictures over the Valentine's Day weekend showing him with a bleach blonde hair do.

Robbie had two reasons to celebrate over the weekend; not only was it Valentine's Day, but he also turned 41 on Friday. The star shared a series of pictures to commemorate the occasion, including one of himself holding a sign saying Daddy, painted by his two-year-old daughter Theodora.

"Best Birthday present ever!" he wrote, alongside the picture.

The birthday boy also celebrated Valentine's Day with his wife Ayda Field. The couple, who have been married for four years, appeared to be having fun as they struck a pose for a photo together.

Robbie and Ayda have two children together, and welcomed their baby son Charlton Valentine Williams in October. The ever playful singer kept his fans entertained while his wife was in labour, sharing videos and live tweeting throughout.

Following the baby boy's arrival Robbie said he "has never been more proud" of his wife, and "never been more in love".
