Kylie Jenner often shares photos of her edgy hairstyles on Instagram, but the 18-year-old has taken things one step further in a recent tribute to one of her favourite looks. The Keeping up with the Kardashians star has commissioned a mural in her Calabasas mansion which portrays her with the long, pale mint wig she rocked for an event at the Sugar Factory last year.

Kylie has commissioned a mural to be painted of her favourite hairstyle

Kylie gave her 54.4 million Instagram followers a glimpse of the ongoing artwork, revealing she has turned to artist and tattooist Joshua Woods to paint the impressive piece.

"@jwoodzart almost done!" she captioned a snap of the mural, which covers two walls in one room. "U guys have to check him out for tats if you're in the LA area." Joshua also shared a few photos of the artwork on his own Instagram account, admitting that it was his "first mural".

It comes as no surprise that Kylie chose to immortalise this particular look – in the past she has admitted it's been one of her favourite makeovers to date.

The star has admitted her green hair was one of her favourite looks

The reality TV star is no stranger to experimenting with her locks, having rocked a rainbow of colours including turquoise, navy blue, pink, blonde and grey, as well as a variety of styles from long wavy tresses to a short blunt bob.

Kim Kardashian's younger sister has previously explained the reason behind her regular makeovers and how they leave her feeling "like a new person".

"I first dyed my hair when I was 16," she confessed in a post on her app. "I dyed it blue and I never even asked my mom. After that, I've just had this addiction to changing my hair. It makes me feel like a new person. I love feeling different and I love leaving the house knowing that nobody has ever seen me this way."
