Jennifer Love Hewitt has opened up about her pregnancy beauty routine and revealed how she avoided stretch marks while expecting her second child. The actress, who welcomed son Atticus in June, is the face of the new Palmers Stretch Marks Spray – a product she swore by throughout her pregnancy.

Tell us about your pregnancy beauty routine. How did you feel being pregnant?

Whatever makes you feel good that day. Sometimes it's glamming it up/ other days it is embracing the natural glow of pregnancy.

What was your go-to maternity style?

Depended on the day. Some days I wanted to dress the bump and be cute; other days you wanted to keep it comfy.

What does pregnancy and motherhood mean to you?

It's the greatest gift. It's beautiful in every way.

Do you have any advice for first-time pregnant moms?

It's hard to give advice because everyone's experience is unique. But being grateful and trying to present for every moment is key. It goes by fast.

What's a typical day like in your household?

We have a toddler and a baby. Typical does not exist. But it's always fun and a beautiful adventure.

How would you describe your fashion style? Does it vary between work and home? And has it changed since becoming a mum?

Right now, it’s all about comfort and things I can get down on the floor to play in. Also, I have to change my shirt a few times a day due to spit up.

Could you offer any advice for new mums who don’t feel confident about dressing for their new body shape?

I know it’s tough, but don’t get hung up on changes to how your body looks. Embrace the amazing thing your body just did in creating a new life!

Who decides what your children are going to wear? And where do you like to shop for them?

I love deciding what they will wear. And while we shop a lot of places, Baby Gap and KicKee Pants are two of my favourites.

If you could invent a parenting product to help you out with being a busy mum – what would it be and why?

Extra hands and arms that can play with one baby and hold the other at the same time.

How did you first hear about Palmer's and start using it?

Palmers is classic. I knew about it before pregnancy. But once I was pregnant I used it, it worked and I loved it.

What was your favourite Palmer's stretch mark product to use during pregnancy? When and how did you use it?

The massage cream for stretch marks and the skin therapy oil. Yes, those are the two Palmers products I've used. I've used it twice a day-morning and night.
