Mick Jagger's girlfriend Melanie Hamrick is focusing on getting back into "ballet shape" just eight weeks after welcoming her son Deveraux Jagger. The 29-year-old has taken to Instagram to share a glimpse at her intensive workout routine following her return to the gym – and she looks incredible!

The ballet dancer's postpartum fitness routine is seeing her focus on her strength and flexibility, with one video showing her holding a pole in the air and gracefully raising her right leg up and out behind her – all while balancing on a bosu balance ball. Although Melanie started to wobble slightly as she brought her foot back down, she appeared strong and poised, with no sign that she had only recently welcomed her child.

Melanie has been working hard to get back into shape since becoming a mother, and previously tried out another weight-loss craze – cryotherapy. The ballerina uploaded a snap of herself in a chamber exposed to nitrogen, where temperatures reach as low as -140 degrees Celsius. "Day one of my journey to getting the Ballet Body back," the 29-year-old wrote. "Thanks @kryolife for the Icy start!" The popular device, which blasts cold air from head to toe, is believed to burn around 800 calories in three minutes and speed up metabolism as well as help relive muscle pain and arthritis.

Melanie and Rolling Stones frontman Mick became proud parents to a little boy, Deveraux Jagger, in December - the eighth child for the British rocker. At the time, a spokesperson for the couple told HELLO! Magazine: "Melanie Hamrick & Mick Jagger's son was born today in New York and they are both delighted. Mick was at the hospital for the arrival. Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy at this time."
This new addition is the 73-year-old musician's first baby with Melanie. Sir Mick is already a father to Karis Hunt Jagger from his relationship with Marsha Hunt and Jade Jagger with his ex-wife Bianca. The rock star had four children with his ex-partner Jerry Hall – Elizabeth, James, Georgia, and Gabriel. He also has a son Lucas following a brief romance with Luciana Gimenez; their liaison ended Mick's 22-year relationship with Jerry, who is now married to Rupert Murdoch.
