Radiant cheeks: Blush for bloom

13 MAY 2008

Powder blush is great for sculpting cheekbones, but there's nothing like a little cream blush to give skin a youthful-looking rosy hue. Exfoliate first so skin is smooth and dewy-looking and there are no dry patches for the blush to cling to. Apply a light moisturiser over the top and leave to be absorbed. If you need base, go for a light foundation or tinted moisturiser – applying cream blush on top of heavy base will dilute both. Warm the blush under your fingertips for a few seconds and smile to highlight the shape of the apples of your cheeks. Using the first and second finger, smooth a dab of blush.
