Have a manicure and show support for Caroline Monk's Caroline's Campaign, set up to help women keep looking their best during breast cancer treatment

01 OCTOBER 2008

It's the start of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, when fashion and beauty brands across the globe come together to raise funds for this increasingly common illness.

Journalist and breast cancer sufferer Caroline Monk, who chronicled her journey battling the disease in a magazine column, has created Caroline's Campaign, which helps women keep looking their best during treatment. Caroline has worked with Toni & Guy to customise wigs and make-up artist Karen Betts to tattoo in brows when hair is lost.

And now you can show your support while getting your nails done. Visit one of the 7,000 salons around the UK that offer Bio Sculpture, a non-chemical, natural nail gel, and you can have your nails decorated with a pretty pink ribbon – the symbol of the campaign. And £2 from every treatment will go to the campaign.

The treatments cost £35; call 0845 331 2347 to book an appointment.
