Eyes and brows: Keep smoky eyes smoking for longer!
25 NOVEMBER 2008Running a kohl eyeliner along the inner rims of eyelids is one make-up trick guaranteed to sex up any look. But being right next to moist eyes, the eyeliner doesn't stay around long. Give yours a fighting chance of lasting through the night by making sure it 'sticks' properly in the first place. Run a cotton bud lightly along the inner rims before applying the eyeliner – if it goes on to a dry surface, you'll get a denser line that will remain for longer. Make sure the tip of the cotton bud is neat, though – that no stray bits of cotton are sticking out that could make your eyes water – or you'll end up with bloodshot instead of sultry eyes.
