All eyes were on Lady Gaga when she took to the runway in Marc Jacobs' New York Fashion Week show on Thursday. The singer looked every inch a model as she rocked the designer's latest collections, with an edgy beauty look including bleached eyebrows. However, the 29-year-old has since revealed the bold style wasn't a major makeover for her.

"I bleach my eyebrows every day," she confessed to Vogue. "I like to keep them light. They're more versatile for a beauty look. You can draw [your eyebrows] any way you want when they're bleached."

The Bad Romance hitmaker revealed she had been preparing for the Grammys when she was first asked to make her catwalk debut for the American designer.

"I was getting ready to do the Grammys, and I told him that I would do it," she said. "It's really wonderful that he brought me in as one of his models."

Walking the Marc Jacobs show is yet another achievement for the star, who has had a successful start to the year . Not only has she won a Golden Globe for her performance in American Horror Story: Hotel, but she has dazzled the world with her incredible performances singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl half-time show, as well as her touching tribute to David Bowie at the Grammys.

Lady Gaga is also nominated at this year's Academy Awards in the Best Original Song category, for Til It Happens To You which she and Diane Warren co-wrote for The Hunting Ground.

Fans have already begun speculating as to what the star might wear for the ceremony – and whether she will opt to cover her tattoos with make-up like she did for the Golden Globes.

The Just Dance singer's series of inkings on her shoulders and elbows were nowhere to be seen on the night, as she turned to Mad Max: Fury Road make-up artist Mike Mekash to cover them with make-up.

The change was so subtle it initially went unnoticed on the night, but eagle-eyed fans quickly picked up on her missing body art when images of the singer appeared on social media in the following days.
