Victoria Beckham has revealed that she is just like the rest of us, and loves a beauty bargain, in the shape of a toothpaste which costs just £1! Mentadent SR, the secret to the former Spice Girls star's perfect smile, can actually be found in Wilko! Victoria states: "I like strong, minty toothpaste. Something like SR. It’s a little old school, but it’s so English and I always make sure to take it with me to LA." Can’t say fairer than that!

From one beauty bargain to another; Victoria, 43, also revealed to Into The Gloss that her "body secret" is the incredibly budget-friendly Weleda Skin Food, which retails at under £10. "What I love about it, is that it’s not particularly expensive and you can find it anywhere. The formula is so thick and buttery." This handy green tube is priced at a mere £9.95 for 100ml at Holland and Barrett. The nourishing cream is packed with plant extracts and essential oils, and is ideal for very dry skin.

A flawless base with great protection is exactly what the busy mum-of-four needs, particularly when she is relaxing with her children during downtime: "I just like to use Sarah Chapman Skin Insurance SPF30- It’s basically a tinted moisturiser but with sunscreen, which is obviously really important."

However, when she has parties and events to go to, she inevitably wants a more refined, stronger beauty finish: "For more of a look, I use Burberry Fresh Glow Foundation. I have occasionally used La Mer foundation too. There’s one particular shade that's quite good for me, Honey."

The final pearl of beauty wisdom the forty-three-year-old star shared related to her Estee Lauder collection. She talked about the importance of blending with a lighter shade: "I just use my Skin Perfecting Powder. It just mattes everything down, and helps blend everything together."
