Caitlyn Jenner is reportedly preparing to launch a make-up range. According to TMZ, the 66-year-old has filed a trademark for exclusive rights to create a range of beauty products under her name. The trademark is believed to include a variety of different beauty must-haves including fragrances, make-up remover, nail polish and skincare – although Caitlyn has not yet confirmed what her latest projects will entail.

The I Am Cait star has previously opened up about the importance of fashion and beauty in her life, particularly living in the spotlight – and revealed step-daughter Kim Kardashian gave her helpful advice.

"Kimberly says, 'If you do go out, you've got to rock it baby,'" Caitlyn told The Advocate magazine. "You cannot let [the paparazzi] get that picture. They'll take a picture of you with no make-up on, lousy outfit – and they'll use it forever.

"You'll never get rid of it. Kim's very good at that stuff. It does take a little bit more work if you do go out. You've got to at least look good, at least the best you can."

It could be that Caitlyn has also taken inspiration from her daughter Kylie Jenner, who has been conquering the world of beauty in recent months. Not only did the Keeping up with the Kardashians star cause a social media meltdown when she released her lip kits which sold out in seconds, but she has since launched Kylie Cosmetics, promising fans to expect a wide series of products.

The 18-year-old also caused a stir when she recently revealed she has teamed up with beauty brand Sinful Colors to create three limited-edition collections of nail polish.

"I love getting my nails done and nails in general," Kylie told WWD, explaining why she decided to embark on the new project.

Also revealing that her "go-to-style" recently has been a natural, short nail, Kylie admitted she also likes to experiment with colours. "Right now I really like the pinks," she said, referring to some of the shades in her new collection. "I wanted to do something innovative and accessible to my young fans. The colours are great for all skin tones, too."
