Peter Andre's pregnant girlfriend Emily MacDonagh gives first glimpse of her baby bump

10 SEPTEMBER 2013 It was a night for the stars of the small screen, but one little newcomer stole the show — the growing baby bump of Peter Andre's pregnant girlfriend Emily MacDonagh was a real talking point at the 2013 TV Choice Awards as the couple hit the red carpet.

The 23-year-old, who is due to give birth next year, gave just the tiniest glimpse of her blossoming tummy as she posed alongside Peter at The Dorchester Hotel in London.

Emily chose to wear a flattering prom-style dress that went a long way to concealing her bump. She teamed the striking frock with towering heels and a black clutch bag, sweeping her tumbling hair to one side.

Her partner stood proudly by her side, wrapping a protective arm around the medical student, who recently completed her degree at Bristol University. Peter looked dapper in a black suit and an open pink shirt, and looked delighted to be stepping out with his pretty girlfriend at the glitzy event.

Peter, 40, and Emily have been dating for just over a year, and in July announced that they were expecting their first baby together.

Writing in his column for new!, the reality star said, "We were going to keep this to ourselves a little bit longer, but as everyone's been asking I am very happy to tell you that Emily and I are having a baby, and we are over the moon. Emily will make a brilliant mum."

Peter is already a father to two children — son Junior, eight, and daughter Princess Tiaamii, six — from his marriage to Katie Price.

He met Emily through her surgeon father, who operated on Peter in 2010 to remove kidney stones. Recently the TV star denied he had plans to propose, clearing up any engagement rumours in a video entitled, The truth about Emily and marriage.
