Tom Fletcher shares joy as Giovanna and son Buzz get all-clear to leave hospital

27 MARCH 2014 McBusted star Tom Fletcher is excited to leave hospital with his newborn child this afternoon, after his wife, HELLO! Online blogger Giovanna Fletcher gave birth for the first time a fortnight ago.

The 28-year-old shared the news via his Twitter page Thursday morning, letting fans know that they will soon be home with son Buzz, after a difficult couple of weeks. Tom hasn’t revealed what medical attention their tot needed but shared a family snap in Instagram as they prepared to leave.

“Buzz is 2 weeks old today and we're all looking forward to finally getting out of the hospital this afternoon! Whoop!!!!” he captioned the shot. Formerly of just McFly and now balancing life with McBusted, Tom has been telling his more than 1.29million followers that he is seriously lacking in rest since becoming a dad.

He reiterated his point by greeting the Twittersphere with to-the-point message that morning in hospital. “Morning. Surviving on minimal sleep today,” he shared.

To top things off Tom is also having to prepare for a tour with his supergroup comprising Busted and McFly. In three weeks they will go on the road and Tom feels the time has flown by.

“So I believe that there are only 21 days to go until the first night of the @McBusted tour 2014. Holy cow that’s not long at all!!!!” he exclaimed.

Since entering fatherhood, Tom has seen a video named From Bump To Buzz, go viral, with stars such as Russell Crowe sharing it on the web. The clip shows him singing a brand new tune alongside a collage of snapshots which show his wife’s belly growing throughout pregnancy.

When Giovanna found out on Wednesday she wrote: “Erm... THE Russell Crowe just tweeted a link to Bump to Buzz.......... Amazing!”
