Formula One presenter Natalie Pinkham is preparing for her biggest role yet - that of a mum. The 36-year-old sports fan, who revealed exclusively to HELLO! in July that she was expecting her first child with husband Owain Walbyoff, has now opened up on her Christmas plans and how those all important final months of pregnancy are "exciting but nerve wracking."

"I will be the Christmas pudding this year marooned on the sofa", laughed Natalie when HELLO! asked how she will celebrate the festive day this year. Natalie and Owain's families will be congregating at their house, close to Natalie's chosen birthing hospital, and Natalie revealed that each set of parents will be bringing two dishes each, cutting down on cooking and washing for Natalie.

Christmas dinner will also be different for Natalie this year, as she reveals that she will be eating "little and often. I don't have much room for big meals.

"I am vegetarian so am always looking for inspiration for alternatives to traditional Christmas dinner. I recently went on Daily Brunch where chef Simon Rimmer taught me how to make pumpkin pie, which I am definitely going to replicate this Christmas. "It will be a busy time for the happy couple though, as over the next month they will move into their new house, host Christmas day, and they will be counting down the days until their baby's birth. "Hopefully in that order," added Natalie.

Like any first time mum, Natalie has been preparing for the birth by meeting other expectant mums. "I am very lucky to have be part of an NCT group which is full of my friends. "Beulah's Natasha Rufus Isaacs, HELLO! magazine's Danielle Lawler, GMB's Charlotte Hawkins and I meet at least once a week with our other halves, discuss pregnancy plans, eat cake and generally get nervous together. "Natalie is sensibly trying not to think ahead to the excitement of next year's Christmas with the baby, but as she enters the final few months of pregnancy, she has found an unlikely new nemesis. "I have been very lucky with this pregnancy in that I haven't had any morning sickness. It's hard to sleep though, I have pillows wedged in all around my body to try and get comfy, but they pop out and I have to start all over again."

The Sky Sports host will also be attending the Hennessy Gold Cup on Saturday at Newbury racecourse - " it is a great day out" - and will surely impress all race-goers with her stylish and chic fashion choices. "Initially I found it hard to find flattering maternity clothes, but Seraphine and Tiffany Rose have recently kitted me out in some lovely cosy winter numbers", Natalie revealed after HELLO! asked about winter wear.Christmas shopping this year has also been a challenge, with Natalie admitting that most of her shopping will "be online - beulahlondon.com and Elemis.com have some lovely present ideas for girls." Natalie adds: "I don't fancy tackling Black Friday or central London for Christmas shopping at the best of times let alone 8 months pregnant!"
