Nick and Vanessa Lachey have introduced their daughter Brooklyn Elisabeth to the world in an adorable family photo. The black and white picture shows the couple cuddling up to their three-month-old daughter and two-year-old son Camden on a sofa.

The mum-of-two shared the photo in support of March of Dimes charity, writing: "With Mother's Day coming up, I've been spending a lot of time thinking about how lucky and grateful Nick and I are to have two healthy, beautiful children."

Vanessa is clearly besotted by the new addition to her family, and recently told People that she can't wait to watch her grow up.

"I'm so excited [for] the woman that she's going to be and the mother that she's going to be and the person she's going to be."

Meanwhile Nick said that his daughter already has him wrapped around her little finger.

"I'll come up to her and make faces and she smiles and laughs, she's already got me wrapped around her fingers," he said. "The whole daddy's girl thing, she's already got me hook, line and sinker.

"She is the happiest baby ever. She laughs and smiles, just the sweetest disposition."

The 41-year-old also noted the differences between their two children.

"Cam is a little bit more reserved and our daughter is a firecracker. You could just tell that she's going to have a very, very strong will and she's going to give him a run for his money."

Nick and Vanessa welcomed their first daughter on 5 January, with proud mum Vanessa announcing the news on her official website the following day.

"She's HERE!!! Nick, Camden and I are SO excited to announce the birth of our sweet, beautiful baby girl, Brooklyn Elisabeth Lachey," she wrote. "She was born on January 5th 2015 at 5:17pm. She weighed in at 7 pounds 15 ounces, is 21 inches long and has already won over all of our hearts."
