Laura Hamilton has welcomed her second child, a baby girl. The A Place in the Sun presenter announced the exciting news on Twitter on Saturday night, writing: "So excited to be able to announce we welcomed our little girl in to the world today! All doing well and she is gorgeous. "News of the special new arrival was met with a host of congratulatory messages for Laura, 33, and her insurance broker husband Alex Goward and her tweeted was favourited 114 times.
"Huuuuuge congratulations lovely xx," wrote Countryfile star Helen Skelton-Myler, who recently announced that she is expecting her first baby."Aw congratulations honey!" posted former Liberty X singer Jessica Taylor.Last month, in her exclusive HELLO! Online blog, Laura revealed that she had secretly tried to find out the gender of her baby, who is now little sister to her one-year-old son Rocco.

"I was actually a little naughty last week," she admitted. "Because I tried to find out the sex of our baby without Alex knowing when I attended St Helier hospital in Surrey. "I was given a guided tour of their birthing facilities and helped present an award to their maternity team with UNICEF representative Anne Strong," she added. "So… whilst I was there I asked for a cheeky scan."But it seemed that Laura was destined not to find out her baby's gender before the day she gave birth. "Unfortunately they were unable to fit me in," she wrote. "Oh well the surprise is meant to be. I’ve waited this long, so what is another couple of weeks?"

In the run-up to the birth, Laura celebrated with a lavish baby shower – which featured exclusively in HELLO! Magazine.The special occasion, which was held at Sketch London in Mayfair, helped to raise money for Dreams Come True, a UK-based children's charity who Laura is an ambassador for.
