We think Gossip Girl would have something to say about this - congratulations are in order for former teen drama stars Leighton Meester and Adam Brody who are expecting their first child. The secret was revealed when the pair were spotted going for dinner in LA, and Leighton proudly showed off her growing baby bump in a tight grey T-shirt.

It's no surprise the pair kept their upcoming parenthood a secret - the two also tied the knot in secret, less than three months after news of their engagement broke at the end of 2013.
Adam, 35, who starred in The OC, and Leighton, 28, only went public with their romance in the summer of 2013, but Leighton had fans guessing on their news when she showed off a blossoming bump during a concert earlier in May.
A magazine interview with the former TV actress in Nylon also revealed that the pair were beginning to think of children.

"Most people I know are starting to get married. It’ll be kids next," Leighton revealed.
"I like the grown-up stuff. I like having a house. I’ve got dogs."
At the time of their engagement, a source said: "Leighton and Adam are crazy about each other and have talked about getting married eventually.
"But she had no idea he would propose so soon! It was the surprise of her life and she's ecstatic!"

The happy couple met in 2011 on the set of The Oranges, and paired up again in 2014 for Life Partners.
Sitting down at the launch of Broadway revival of Of Mice and Men, which Leighton starred in during 2014, eagle-eyed fans caught a first glimpse at the sparkling pieces Leighton wears on her ring finger, as the actress placed her hands upon her knees – perfectly showing off her huge diamond engagement ring and accompanying wedding band.
