After giving birth to her daughter on Wednesday morning, Fearne Cotton couldn't wait to share a sweet photo with her online followers. The thrilled mum posted a close-up snap of baby Honey's hands on Twitter and Instagram, thanking fans for their support.

"Thank you so much for all your lovely messages," wrote Fearne. "We are so in love with little Honey."

The radio presenter, who also has a son Rex with her husband Jesse Wood, gave just a glimpse of the newborn's outstretched hands while she supported her.

Baby Honey Krissy is named after Jesse's late mum Krissy Findlay

The couple decided to name their little girl after Jesse's late mother Krissy Findlay, who passed away in June 2005.

Hopefully, the name finds approval with big brother Rex, even though it is not the one he had in mind. When Fearne asked for ideas recently, her little boy gave the name of one of his favourite characters – Bob the Builder.
