Brooklyn Decker has given fans their first glimpse at her baby son almost two months after she welcomed him into the world. The new mum posted a sweet photo of herself and baby Hank together on Sunday, which showed the newborn snoozing soundly on her chest.

A make-up free Brooklyn appeared relaxed and content in the snap, as she lounged on a sofa while resting one arm across her baby boy. "Sundays," the caption read.

It is the first photo the Just Go With It actress has posted of her son since he was born on 30 September. Hank is Brooklyn's first child with her tennis pro husband Andy Roddick, and the couple are enjoying some time out of the spotlight as they bond with their baby boy.

Brooklyn previously gave her Instagram followers a sneak peek inside the baby's nursery in October with a photo that showed an American flag draped in front of a window, behind Hank's black cot, which stands on a cosy sheepskin rug. Floor cushions, a comfortable chair and a blanket embroidered with the letter H can also be seen – as can the couple's pet bulldog, Billie Jean.

The couple announced their pregnancy in May, with the Grace and Frankie star sharing a photo that gave followers their first glimpse of her baby bump. "So this happened… #the3ofus," Brooklyn, who cradled her belly in the picture, wrote alongside.

New mum Brooklyn made no secret of her desire to start a family with former tennis star Andy. "He's just the most clever person I've ever met," she told Glamour magazine last year. "He has such a quick mind… He's so clever and his humour is really snarky. It always makes me laugh. "The sweet couple started dating in 2007, and in March 2008 Andy announced on his website that he and Brooklyn were engaged. They tied the knot on 17 April, 2009 in Austin, Texas.
