Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper welcomed their first child together two weeks ago - and the gender and name of the newborn has finally been revealed! The couple named their baby daughter Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper. The source who confirmed the moniker to E! News added: "They are both extremely thrilled and feel so blessed."

News of the birth broke over the weekend when the couple were spotted out and about in Venice, California with their child.

The low-key announcement is hardly surprising for the power couple. Despite the high-profile nature of their romance, the pair have managed to keep most of their personal lives out of the public eye since they began dating back in 2015.

The news of Irina’s pregnancy broke back in December when the 31-year-old walked the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show – with onlookers observing that she was considerably more covered up than her fellow Angels.

Irina has previously opened up to HELLO! about her desire to start a family, saying: "I think family is our reason for being. I was lucky to be born into a very close-knit family. My parents got married over 20 years ago and they're true role models." The Russian beauty added, "I would definitely like to start a family because it’s the most important thing in the world and what you should take care of, along with your friends and the people you love".

"I want to have a family because that is the most important thing on this earth," she added. "I don't think there is a perfect time. I think it's more important to have the right person by your side. "My sister had her baby when she was 22, and for her that was the perfect time. I will be 31 in January, so maybe soon it will be my perfect time. I don't know - time will tell."
