Princess Stephanie of Monaco orchestrated an unusual family reunion for her daughter Pauline’s seventh birthday, bringing together the two fathers of her three children, Daniel Ducruet and Jean-Raymond Gottlieb and her current partner, circus maestro Franco Knie, to watch Pauline perform with Garcia, the elephant, under the Big Top.

The unorthodox party took place in Zurich and both Daniel and Jean-Raymond – friends from their days as the Princess’ bodyguards – stayed at the Opera hotel along with Daniel’s mother Maguy. Although on the night of Pauline’s performance they left the hotel separately, the two met up again at the ring. And while Pauline got ready for her stunt, Stephanie – who some rumours have said is pregnant again – joined ex-husband Daniel to explain the finer details of his daughter’s act.
