When the curtain rose at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London one night recently, it was for a very special performance of the hit musical My Fair Lady.
The cast of the West End show were treading the boards for a charity benefit night that helped raise almost £90,000 for the Alan Jay Lerner Fund for Lung Cancer Research and Children With Leukaemia Trust.
Later cast members Martine McCutcheon, Dennis Waterman and Jonathan Pryce joined the audience for dinner at Le Meridien Waldorf Hotel.
Looking stunning in a halterneck black dress, Martine mingled with guests before taking time to have a quick chat with HELLO! about her future plans. “I’ll be in the show until April next year and then I’m hoping to do more films,” she said. “I’ve just done one with Chris Penn and Stellan Skarsgard called Kiss Kiss (Bang Bang). I’m really proud of it.”
