Christina Getty, the youngest granddaughter of the late oil magnate John Paul Getty, has tied the knot with businessman Arin Maercks at a sumptuous ceremony in Miami Beach, Florida.

Daughter of Jean Ronald Getty, who was all but excluded from the family trust by his famously demanding and miserly father – some believe the tycoon’s resentment towards Jean Ronald’s mother for refusing him a divorce spilled over onto him – Christina belongs to the least documented branch of the Getty clan but, like her cousins, rubs shoulders with the rich and famous. Among her wedding guests were Barbara Becker, former wife of tennis star Boris, Princess Catherine Colonna di Stigliano, and Prince Frederic von Anhalt with his wife Zsa Zsa Gabor.
