Amidst a private battle with the life-threatening liver disease Hepatitis C, and after custody battles with her hell-raising ex-husband, Tommy Lee, Pamela Anderson tells of her recent engagement to the controversial rock star, Kid Rock, in this week's magazine.

A radiant Pammie speaks of her private war with disease, her work for liver charities and how she has become an inspiration for victims of spousal abuse, as well as the focus of her life- her children, five-year-old Brandon, and Dylan, four. “They need strong, consistent role-models”, she says.

Answering criticisms that she has gone for another rock star, she says, “I believe in fate and destiny and romantic love….the truth is that relationships take hard work and you need to know someone a little before you marry them.”

Pam talks affectionately about a “shy and modest” Kid Rock, saying “ He´s just a country guy and he´s so polite, which you don´t find in LA. He´s written me a few love songs which are going to totally ruin his image!”
