While Madonna is well-known for her love of all things British, it seems the singer has finally lost patience with one aspect of London-life – the tabloid press. The pop icon has decided to contact the Press Complaints Commission over reports that she is expecting another child.

A recent article in Heat magazine claimed that the 44-year-old was expecting her third child. The magazine based the report on the fact that Madonna has dyed her hair and taken to wearing baggy clothes. It also reported she was three months into the pregnancy and had already met with a specialist.

A statement from her spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg insists that the reports are completely false, however. She also rejected rumours that the Queen of Pop returned to Los Angeles in order to see her doctors there.

"It's not true… it's not accurate. She dyed her hair brown instead of blonde, that does not confirm somebody's pregnant. And she's been wearing baggy clothes for 20 years, so what else is new?"

Liz also revealed that Madonna has gone to LA to make a video for her forthcoming album American Life. "When people see that they'll see for themselves she's not pregnant," she said. The 44-year-old already has two children, Lourdes, six, and two-year-old Rocco.
