A weekend in Paris should make an ideal romantic getaway for any A-list couple, but Guy Ritchie was left feeling a little sheepish during his latest visit to the City of Light after he appeared to forget his famous wife's full name.

The Snatch director, who was accompanied by Madonna for a sojourn in the French capital, was left red-faced on the chat show Everybody's Talking About It when the host suddenly started quizzing him about the Queen of Pop.
Guy was at a loss for words when Thierry Ardisson asked him to state his wife's full name. The 37-year-old stammered "Er... er...", before another guest prompted him, "Louise Ciccone." Madonna's full name is in fact Louise Veronica Ciccone.
Next up was a question about the singer's wedding dress, with the filmmaker appearing a little more confident as he declared his bride had worn a French designer called Hutchins on their big day. His memory had apparently let him down once again, though, as Madonna turned to her friend Stella McCartney for the gown she wore to make her vows.
"You're going to get me in a whole lot of trouble," confessed Guy as the interrogation continued. His wife obviously saw the funny side of his forgetfulness, however, as she was sporting a broad smile when photographers snapped her out and about in the weekend sunshine. |
