They may only be in their early teens, but the former Boomtown Rats singer's daughters - Peaches (on left) and Pixie - were looking extremely grown up at the screening in London's Washington Mayfair Hotel

STING'S KIDS JOIN GELDOF GIRLS AT 'GEISHA' LAUNCH

12 JANUARY 2006

The UK premiere of Memoirs Of A Geisha became something of a rock chick outing as the glamorous offspring of some of the UK's best known musicians turned out in force.

Joining the guests for the screening at a top London hotel on Wednesday night were Sting's daughter Katie, and Peaches and Pixie Geldof. Accompanying 25-year-old Katie, who is the product of the Police singer's first marriage to actress Frances Tomelty, was her half brother Jake.

While Jake - Sting's son by his current wife, Trudie Styler - took a casual approach to the evening, coming along in ripped jeans and casual black sweater, his pretty companions were dressed to kill.

Katie, who, like Sir Bob's daughters, can lay claim to an exotic moniker – her full name is Fuchsia Katherine – was elegant in a sequin-trimmed ensemble in champagne silk, while Peaches and Pixie had chosen variations on a black and white theme.

Pixie, who at 15 is the youngest of Sir Bob's three daughters by the late TV presenter Paula Yates, was looking mature beyond her years in a figure-hugging black sheath with oversize, off-the-shoulder polka-dot collar.

Meanwhile, her precocious columnist sister Peaches had made a similarly daring fashion choice for the evening, turning up in a dress exactly the same as one worn by fashion queen Kate Moss at a US awards do last June.
