Pop sensation Ashlee Simpson is used to playing gigs to sell-out crowds – but perhaps never in front of an audience wearing pyjamas before. That's exactly what happened on Wednesday night as she headlined the entertainment for Victoria's Secret's pyjama party in New York.

Now back to her blonde looks after a flirtation with being brunette, the gorgeous 21-year-old gave an energetic show to help launch a new collection for the lingerie brand. The petite star decided against PJs, however, instead sporting a sexy corset-style top. Her boyfriend, Braxton Olita, clearly thought she performed well, giving her a huge congratulatory hug afterwards.

Ashlee has revealed she's been dating Braxton, one of her band members, since early this year and although she's happy, is taking it slowly: "It's scary for me to actually have a boyfriend," she told a teen magazine, "You give your heart up and it might be broken."

If anyone was breaking hearts that night, however, it was Desperate Housewives hunk Jesse Metcalfe. The handsome actor, who joined other VIPs at the Hudson River Park location, is already spoken for after finding love with Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle.
