British R&B star Jamelia has been waxing lyrical about her plans to tie the knot. The 24-year-old chanteuse, who has been dating Millwall footballer Darren Byfield for two years, says her big day will be a truly spectacular affair.

The singer made her revelations at a glitzy party heralding the nominations for this year's Mobo awards. "Darren asks me every second day to be his wife and we definitely will get married," she said. "I'm only going to get married once so I'm going to do it right."

The loved up pair welcomed their first child together, a little girl called Tiani, last October. And the chart-topping singer, who also has a five-year-old called Teja from a previous relationship, says both her daughters will take part in the ceremony.

"It will be a big white flashy affair with all our family and friends," she continued. "Maybe sooner rather than later because my mum and his mum are on at us to get hitched. And my other daughter Teja is constantly asking 'when are you getting married?' We can't let them down now!"
