The Q Music Awards always provide a number of talking points, from the red carpet fashion to the winners on the night.

But this year one lady really stole the show – Amy Winehouse.

Having made headlines with her recent breast enhancement, the 26-year-old singer debuted her new curves in a hot pink cocktail dress as she attended the ceremony with protégé and goddaughter, 13-year-old Dionne Bromfield.

The Back to Black star - who father Mitch says has overcome her troubles - didn't just raise eyebrows for her décolletage.

She also missed her cue to present band The Specials with the inspiration award, arriving on stage after they had already been given their gong.

Meanwhile Amy's musical peer, and the winner of the best track prize, Lily Allen hit all the right notes with her evening look.

Sporting a new choppy do, the Fear singer went for classic simplicity in a long-sleeved beaded dress teamed with leggings and towering black heels.

While Lady Gaga was not able to pick up her video of the year award, other winners including the recipients of the Q Idol trophy, Spandau Ballet - currently on tour - and best act honourees Muse were at the London event.

Sixties star Marianne Faithful won the Icon award and Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant took home the distinguished Outstanding Contribution gong.
