Cheryl Cole is one busy lady.

On top of getting ready for the X Factor final, she also found time to film a Christmas TV special this week.

And after such a successful performance of her single, Fight For This Love, on the reality show recently, the busy brunette beauty kept to her winning formula.

Swapping her military-influenced costume for an Eastern-inspired number, Cheryl decided to stick with an outfit that was again daringly slashed to the thigh.

The 26-year-old was dressed in a hot pink dress with her hair pulled tightly back to film her one-off show, Cheryl's Night In.

As she performed a ninja routine with her backing dancers to her number one track, the Girls Aloud star's proud husband Ashley took his place in the audience, singing along and blowing his wife kisses.

Cheryl's finalist Joe McElderry was also there, no doubt picking up handy performance tips ahead of his head-to-head battle to win the X Factor.

During the 60 minute show, which airs on December 19, Cheryl changed into an orange gown to speak to her protégé from last year, Alexandra Burke, and she also chatted to presenter Holly Willoughby.

Meanwhile in other career news, American singer Rihanna has said she would like to help Cheryl crack the Amercian market, adding she "would love" to offer her a slot on her new tour.

"I think I could help her break into the States. She'd wow them," said the 21-year-old R&B star.
