Legend has it that Rod first noticed Rachel Hunter in a TV advert, and finally met her at an LA club in 1990. After they began dating, ''I knew within a week I wanted to marry her," he said. "She's got a teasing way about her and an intelligence which I've not found in most models - and I've known a few in my day.''
True to his word, Rod, then 45, popped the question to the 21-year-old Sports Illustrated cover girl within a few weeks. Before the year's end they were wed. "Rod is very lucky to have her," Rod's ex-wife Alana once said of "fabulous" Rachel.
