Famous for: Setting pulses racing on the wards of Holby City
Ian Aspinall has done for British doctors what George Clooney did for their American counterparts. Movie fans may also recognise the chisel-jawed actor from indie hit East Is East, but it was on the wards of Holby City that he really made an impression settings heart aflutter among both patients and his fellow workers. The Lancashire-born actor has also appeared in the mini-series Invasion Earth and the big screen thriller Killing Me Softly.
